Transit in El Cerrito

The City of El Cerrito is fortunate to be home to two BART stations and numerous AC Transit bus lines that connect to local and regional destinations. Del Norte BART is also served by WestCAT Transit, Vallejo Transit, and Golden Gate Transit.

Through the adopted Transit First Policy, it is the official policy of the City of El Cerrito to encourage and promote the use of public transit among El Cerrito residents and visitors, and expedite the movement of transit vehicles.

Easy Ride Paratransit Service is a City-operated in-town transportation service
for seniors and disabled residents.

East Bay Paratransit is a public transit service for people who are unable to use regular buses or trains, like those operated by AC Transit and BART, because of a disability or a disabling health condition.
