Police Blotter / Nixle

The El Cerrito Police Department works with Nixle to provide the public with an internet-based information system that assists Police Departments in getting important messages out to the public in real-time. To sign-up with Nixle to receive this information directly to your email or cell phone, complete the online form at the bottom of this page.

The Police Blotter is updated approximately twice per week. The blotter also includes informational releases about real-time public safety emergencies, crime watch, safety tips as well as events sponsored by ECPD.
