The Ohlone Greenway Pedestrian & Bicycle Wayfinding & Amenities Project will improve the well-used Ohlone Greenway, which runs along the eastern edge of the San Pablo Avenue corridor. The Greenway is a 2.7 mile multi-use trail that traverses the City of El Cerrito, underneath the elevated BART tracks, from the south to north City limits.

This project will rehabilitate the sidewalks including curb, gutter, and drainage piping that have been damaged by the roots of street trees at six (6) sites along San Pablo Avenue. The work will be in front of the following addresses: 11550 San Pablo Avenue, 10767 San Pablo Avenue, 10794 San Pablo Avenue, 10468 San Pablo Avenue, 10360 San Pablo Avenue, and 10344 San Pablo Avenue. These locations were prioritized for permanent repair based on several factors including severity of the sidewalk damage, location on a street identified as a high-volume pedestrian route, proximity to schools and other public facilities, and type of repair.
