3,375 customers in El Cerrito and 1,017 in Kensington are currently without power.
3,375 CUSTOMERS IN EL CERRITO AND 1,017 IN KENSINGTON ARE CURRENTLY WITHOUT POWER.
*The El Cerrito Recycling Center will be closed today, Sunday, October 27.
*To support residents with no electrical power, the El Cerrito Community Center will be open on today Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for residents to charge small electronic devices, cell phones, and small medical devices. Please do not bring pets, unless certified service animals. The Community Center is not equipped to accommodate food.
*Any street lights without power should be treated as an all-way stop.
*PG&E has reported that the wind event is expected to last longer and have stronger winds than last event, so restoration of services may be complicated if there is damage to utility lines.
*We are continuing to monitor the situation, and will provide updates as soon as we have new information.
*Please be advised that the decision to shut off and restore power has been planned and managed solely by PG&E.
