Part of the City Manager’s Update of May 16, 2014

The EC STARS internship program with El Cerrito High School has successfully kicked off its second year. The City is offering six intern assignments this year in the following departments/divisions: Finance, Fire, Human Resources, Planning, Public Works and Recreation. The intern fair was held at ECHS on April 23 and nineteen students were in attendance. During the application period, Human Resources received a total of eight completed application packages. The deadline to submit applications was May 2. Students will receive notification of interviews by May 8. The interviews will be held at City Hall on May 19 or 21 with final selection on June 2.
