Part of the City Manager’s Update of May 16, 2014

As you are aware, the Fire Department is currently having a new aerial ladder truck built by Spartan Emergency Response Vehicles in South Dakota. This unit will be on a Spartan Cab and Chassis just like the city’s other engines and will have a 103’ four section aerial ladder. Delivery is scheduled for June 19 to Hi-Tech Emergency Vehicle Services in Oakdale, the local dealer, and will be delivered to the City shortly thereafter. The original delivery date was scheduled for June 26, but may occur slightly after that date. Staff will keep you posted as delivery gets closer.
