In April 2016, auditors from the California Department of Justice met with the records division to review the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the Police Department’s entries into the statewide Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS). The audit found that our agency is in compliance with CJIS and NCIC requirements. Our records division has done an excellent job ensuring that our records are timely and accurate. Their work is an essential component in helping our front line officers effectively accomplish their mission.
