An online inspection request option was recently started that allows anyone with a permit to request an inspection from the City of El Cerrito website. The permitee fills in the requested information on the website form, submits, and then a staff member will contact to confirm dates available for inspection. The  online inspection request form is online at http://www.el-cerrito.org/buildingpermits. Inspection request via telephone is still available at 215-4360.
