The Engineering Division is in the process of issuing Encroachment Permits for the replacement of EBMUD pipelines on several local residential streets in El Cerrito. Construction on Tulare Avenue from Edwards Avenue to Jordan Avenue is scheduled to begin in mid-September. This will include pavement, sidewalk and curb & gutter repair as well.
Following these improvements, construction is scheduled in November-December for the following segments:
- Behrens St. - Fairmount Ave. to Spokane Ave.
- C St. - Behrens St. to Ashbury Ave.
- Victoria St. - Fairmount Ave. to Tahoe Pl.
