[ARCHIVED] Metro 510 Update

The original item was published from June 13, 2017 5:08 PM to June 13, 2017 5:10 PM

Metro 510 (formerly known as Creekside Apartments) is the new 128-unit apartment community scheduled to open adjacent to the Ohlone Greenway at the southeast corner of the El Cerrito Plaza shopping center. The project is now actively leasing both affordable (below market rate) and market rate 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units. Visit www.liveatmetro510.com for more information.

The project consists of two buildings and a new section of daylighted creek with a public pathway connecting to the Ohlone Greenway. The North building has received a TCO (temporary certificate of occupancy) from the City’s Building Official to a portion of the north building units and is awaiting completion of additional access improvements in order to open up occupancy for the entire building.

The project’s owners and contractors are aiming for a late fall completion of the entire project, including public improvements. The project’s renting agent, FPI Management, has also begun the affordable housing selection process. The selection process is a lottery system where the renting agent contacts selected names from the interest list (now closed) for the 19 below market rate apartments. Once selected, the potential tenant has 72 hours to respond and can then start the application process online or in person at the apartment office. Once the selection process is complete, a note of the completion will be posted on the City website at www.el-cerrito.org/Metro510. Please note the City of El Cerrito does not have a role in selecting residents for below market rate units.

For inquiries about the project, please contact 844-582-4158 or visit the project website www.liveatmetro.510.com or the City’s website www.el-cerrito.org/Metro510.
