The City has installed a ChargePoint electric vehicle charging station at City Hall for use by both City employees and the public. The station provides Level II charging for $1.25 per hour, which will provide most electric vehicles a full 4-hour charge for $5.00. The station is part of the ChargePoint system and can be accessed by drivers with a ChargePass card or via other credit cards using a phone-in option. After an initial test phase, the City will more widely advertise the availability of the station for public use through the ChargePoint on-line network.
