Metro 510 (formerly known as Creekside Apartments) is the new 128-unit apartment community scheduled to open adjacent to the Ohlone Greenway at the southeast corner of the El Cerrito Plaza shopping center. The project is now actively leasing both affordable (below market rate) and market rate 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units.

Approximately 20 Chevron employees will be volunteering in El Cerrito to help remove litter and invasive weeds along the Ohlone Greenway on September 21 from 9 a.m. to noon, as part of Corporate Caring Volunteer Week.

In May, El Cerrito Police and Fire Departments responded to an assault on a juvenile on Ohlone Greenway, to a medical emergency involving a non-breathing 3-month-old baby, and to 4 residential burglaries over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
