The El Cerrito Public Works Department is considering modifications to Arlington Blvd to create a safer traffic environment for pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles in the vicinity of Arlington Park. The City held a meeting on July 10, 2012 to hear residents' concerns and ideas about traffic conditions along Arlington Blvd between Buckingham Drive and Arbor Drive. City staff and the City’s consultant presented background information and preliminary near-term and long-term concepts for improvements. Comments received at the meeting are guiding City staff as we formulate an implementation plan for improvements.

The implementation of the near-term improvements discussed in the links below will begin in early November 2012.  We encourage you to contact us with any questions or comments as the various improvements are implemented in phases.
