2016 City of El Cerrito & worldOne 4th of July Festival
Celebrate Independence Day in El Cerrito and the annual admission-free family-friendly event.
The City of El Cerrito and worldOne present a day of fun, food and entertainment for the whole family!

 The  July 4th Festival  is held in beautiful Cerrito Vista Park, located at 950 Pomona Avenue in El Cerrito. 

The fun begins on Sunday July 3rd, with a special performance of Circus Imagination at 4PM and Hawaiian slack key guitarist extraordinaire Patrick Landeza + Friends, joined by dancers Mahealani Uchiyama and Halau KaUaTuaHine on the MainStage from 5pm to 7pm. Bring a picnic dinner or enjoy savory Pilipino Cuisine from ADOruBOwl Food Truck.

Monday's admission-free family-friendly event is full of fun, food and entertainment from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with music on the Main Stage until 6:30 p.m.

The event also includes:

  • Children’s fun area with carnival games, jump houses and rides till 6pm
  • Circus Imagination shows in the circus tent at 11am, 1pm and 3pm
  • Magical Nathaniel shows in the circus tent immediately after the 11am and 1pm Circus Imagination shows
  • BrasArte  drumming starting at 12:15pm
  • Creative Re-Use Crafting activity sponsored by the Arts & Culture Commission
  • El Cerrito Art Assoc. Art Show & Sale
  • Spin Art activity – all day at the El Cerrito Art Assoc. Booth
  • Mosaic Art for kids - 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Jean Witzke Demo 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm
  • Jean Sichterman Demo 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
  • Face painting
  • Lots of great tasty food

Volunteers are needed to help create a memorable, fun and safe community event. Individuals and groups are encouraged to contact either the Recreation Department or worldOne Radio about volunteer opportunities.
